Collection: Gates and Crates

Sometimes folks don't like the idea of gating or crating their dog, but it's important to remember a few things:

1. Puppies need a crate like a baby needs a crib. It keeps them safe and helps them understand their sleep schedules.
2. Many adult dogs love to den, and will enjoy sleeping in their crate even with the door open.
3. Crates and gates help to prevent your dog from establishing destructive habits. It's much easier to foster good habits now than it is to break bad ones later.

It's important to introduce a crate in a positive way, using stuffed kongs and puzzle toys to build good associations.

Crates should have two doors, to allow for different positioning in your home (without blocking the door) and be easy to clean.
